St. Vincent's Medical Center (Birmingham)

St. Vincent's Birmingham (formerly known as St. Vincent's Hospital) is a hospital located in Birmingham, Alabama. It is one of five facilities that make up St. Vincent's Health System.

St. Vincent's Birmingham is a member of Ascension Health the nation’s largest not-for-profit Catholic healthcare system, and is an acute care, community-based facility providing inpatient, outpatient and outreach services to Birmingham and its surrounding communities. Founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1898, St. Vincent’s is Birmingham’s oldest hospital and is guided by six core values: Service of the Poor, Reverence, Integrity, Wisdom, Creativity and Dedication.

The hospital's medical staff includes renowned sports physician Dr. James Andrews, co-founder of the American Sports Medicine Institute.
